Erin Condren $50 Giveaway!!!
Congrats to Laura B. on winning the giveaway! Thanks to everybody who entered!
OK…so, I bought that awesome planner. I wrote a very detailed review. But I’m not done talking about Erin Condren.
Oh, no.
Not even close to done.
Wanna know why?
Because the Erin Condren team has given me reason to keep talking…
…One hundred reasons even.
One of the Erin Condren team contacted me after my big, huge review. In addition to giving me a more detailed explanation on why they charge so much to ship to Canada (which I really appreciated), and in addition to pinning my review on one of their Pinterest boards, she e-mailed me a one hundred dollar gift certificate for ErinCondren.com!
It took a second for the shock to wear off…then I started bawling (happy tears). It confused MiniDork SO. BAD. I had to explain to her that “sometimes when you’re really happy, you cry. And sometimes pregnant ladies cry really easily!” I think she sort of understood. Eventually, after a mix of crying and gleeful laughter, I calmed down. Then ManDork called from work and I started crying all over again when I told him what happened.
Hormones, you guys. HORMONES.
Then I set about excitedly exploring every single product on the site (even the wedding section, because I’m weird like that). I have to admit…I was tempted to wait until after MicroDork is born and we get our newborn portraits so I could order one of these beauties for the changing table/dresser/thing we have set up.

Doesn’t that just make your ovaries scream in delight?
Buuuut…it was a little over my budget and I already had my heart set on something else.
THE PEN LOOP!
Yup. I must have mentioned it a bazillion times in my review. And sure, it may seem like a itty bitty little nothing to some people. But darn it, I wanted one. And I wanted custom stickers! So that’s what I ordered: two sets of custom stickers, a pen loop, and two extra bookmarks (to solve my navigating to different sections dilemma)! And I used the generous gift credit to pay for that troublesome express shipping.
But guess what you guys.
I still have half the gift certificate left.
That’s fifty bucks.
A Life Planner like mine costs fifty bucks.
Originally I was planning to cling to it like Gollum to the One Ring. There might have been a conversation with myself that went something like this:
“I can use it to buy next year’s planner at the end of this year, Precious!”
“YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GIVES IT AWAY ON YOUR BLOG!”
“No! No giveaways for nasty little hobbitses!”
But ultimately the better half of my brain won out by reminding my selfish half that after such a generous act had turned what had previously been a crummy day into an awesome one, the least I could do is pay it forward a bit.
So, that’s what I’m doing. THANK YOU Erin Condren! You made my day, and now I get to make somebody else’s day too!

Giveaway has ended. Thank you to everybody who participated, and congrats to winner Laura!
Somebody is going to win enough store credit to buy a Life Planner. But, sorry, you’ll have to pay your own shipping!

I stumbled upon your blog yesterday and fell in love with your posts! Keep them coming! By the way I linked you at my blog… hope that’s okay?!
Of course that’s OK! Glad you like what you see! Good luck in the contest!

Well, no, but you can tweet daily for more entries.
AWESOME! Do I need to use the Rafflecopter link each time?
I believe so, as it tracks all entries. I pretty much do nothing until the end, when I press a button and it tells me who the winner is.
yay – love that you paid it forward… you have lots of karma points coming your way! xxx
I love Erin Condren.
How generous are you?!?!?
Don’t get the wrong idea. My generosity comes in random spurts.
